Tight Lines: A kink life drawing event

COST: Sliding scale $10/$15/$20

Join us for a live figure drawing experience celebrating the art of rope and Shibari. Bring your favorite drawing materials and settle into a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere as artists capture the beauty of rope through a series of thoughtfully composed live poses.

Throughout the session, models and riggers will create a range of compositions—from elegant floor work to striking suspensions—highlighting expressive human forms, dynamic lines, and intricate rope patterns. Poses will vary in length, offering opportunities for both quick gesture sketches and more detailed studies.

Our models and riggers generously volunteer their time, bodies and experience to make this event possible. They would love to see your sketches and finished artwork after the poses are complete, so if you're comfortable sharing, please take a moment to show them what you've created after their sessions!

This is a BYOB event; please drink responsibly. Glass is not allowed in the studio; please make sure to bring cans or a cup to pour your drink into.

Important event information:

• Please arrive by 7:30pm so that our event manager has time to relax and draw too.
• Registration & payment required online in advance.
• Bring a photo ID that matches the Last Name listed in your online registration for admittance.
• No refunds or credits on cancellations within 24 hours of event (contact office@studiofriction.com with extenuating circumstances)
• You must be at least 19 years old to attend events at Studio Friction.
